Can I have full registration on puppy?
Our puppies are sold on limited AKC registration until they are proven breed-worthy(unless prior permission has been granted by us and these dogs will be CO-OWNED until conditions are met). To us, breed-worthy means they have some sort of proof of workability as well as passing breed specific health tests.

We either require a co-own with us and obtaining a champion conformation title in either AKC or UKC, or we require 2 performance titles. Whether it be in conformation, rally, bitework, dock diving, herding, or other; we want to know your puppy has some outstanding qualities that would be beneficial to the breed.

We also require your dog to obtain, and maintain, a CHIC # and all health clearances to be public in OFA's database. We also require genetic health screenings done (such as through Embark, or similar).

Once our requirements have been met, we *MAY* (at the breeder's sole discretion) release full AKC registration. Completion of the above does NOT guarantee you will receive full registration.

Puppies will NOT be sold on full registration at 8 weeks old unless previously approved by the breeder.
Can I pick out my puppy?
We do our best to match you with the dog that best suits your desires and needs, regardless of sex or coat color/type. With that being said, in no circumstances is any buyer allowed to pick out their puppy.
We do not offer an order of "picks" (and will not accept more money in an attempt to move yourself up on the list). Instead, at 8 weeks old, we make final placements based upon the information you've provided us with as well as the temperament testing and general observation the puppies have gone through up until that point.
If you have specific reasons of why you may wish for one sex over the other, please do let us know. If it's simply "I vibe better with female/male dogs"...be aware that you very well may be placed with a puppy of the opposing sex.
What food
do you recommend?
Here at our home, we feed our puppies Victor Hi-Pro.
We will send your puppy home to you with a bag of food in order to switch over to whatever diet that you would like to feed. If you'd like input on diet, please do not hesitate to ask!
How big will my puppy be?
We cannot guarantee a set size. It can differ greatly depending on the breeding, sex of your puppy, and how you maintain their weight. We choose our breeding dogs within the standard for Belgian Sheepdogs.
In our breed, males should be 24 to 26 inches in height and females 22 to 24 inches, measured at the withers.
Do you guarantee the puppy's temperament or workability?
While we can not guarantee temperament or personality, we can guarantee that we will always be with your puppy for the remainder of his or her life. We do temperament test prior to placing the puppy in a home, and we are happy to share the results of the testing/why we believe that dog is best suited for you prior to placement.

Our contract states that we have first right of refusal if you decide your puppy is no longer a good fit in your home. We will take back the dog, evaluate, and rehome him/her to a home that best suits.
Can I come play with the puppies after my puppy is picked for me?
Due to safety concerns, as we breed from our home, we are not allowing visitors apart from at pickup. If you would like to meet your dog's mom, as long as the puppies are not dependent on her presence, we may be able to arrange a neutral meeting in a public place.
After puppy picks have been made, and if you have chosen to have your puppy titer tested, you may be able to accompany us to a public training session and meet your puppy prior to go-home. Though, keep in mind, we will NOT allow your puppy to go home at this meeting. We keep puppies until a minimum of 12 weeks of age.
Can I name my own puppy?
Absolutely! We will send your puppy home with registration paperwork so you are able to choose whatever name you would like. The only stipulation that we have is that your puppy's registration name either includes the prefix "Druid House" or the suffix "vom Druid House".

We also really enjoy coming up with registered names so if you come up with the name you want to call the puppy but are stuck on the registered name, just ask for help!
What does your application and approval process look like?
We require each person interested in a puppy to submit an application. After application is approved, we will set up a phone consultation to determine if we are the right breeder for you. Then, we will contact your references (two personal and one veterinary reference).

If all of this gives us the indication that you may be a good fit for one of our puppies, we will ask you to pay a non-refundable consultation fee of $500. This fee goes towards your total puppy purchase amount.
What states / countries do you sell to?
We currently sell puppies to all 50 states of the USA.
At this time we are not willing to export puppies overseas.
The best way to get a puppy from us is to travel to us, stay locally for a bit, and take the puppy on the trip back home. Staying for a few days allows you to come training with us and get some training/ownership advice for your new puppy!
Secondary would be a round trip flight where we meet you at our local airport, puppy can ride cabin underneath your seat as a carry on.
Thirdly we could do ground transportation for an additional fee. We do not, and will never, offer cargo flights for puppies.
Do you require spaying or neutering?
Your puppy does not HAVE to be fixed at any point in their life. However, there is a policy that they MAY NOT be fixed prior to 24 months of age.
Since the growth plates on dogs do not close until around 24 months and we believe the mental maturity of our dogs is very important, so leaving them intact to mature will ultimately give you a better dog.
